We’ve all suffered! I don’t know about you but I have suffered. I suffered in my childhood intensely and I thank God for it because that made me a seeker. I’m sure we all want quality in life and have looked for answers everywhere on how we can end the suffering. During my journey of seeking I found out this to be true,
‘Your conditioned state of mind is what determines your altitude in life.’
Now, I know some of you have battled for a long time with something that always holds you back when you are supposed to leap forward. I know, I have had those days when all I wanted was to be in a different place to find wealth and peace. Wealth first because I grew up impoverished and I hate economic suffering so much that I refused to allow circumstances to determine my future. I have fought tooth and nail to grasp a certain quality of life and have grown resilient to situations around me.
So, this suffering made me an action taker. I have searched high and low about ways that will end this economic suffering. I neither wanted to suffer nor my future family to also and then I realized I also didn’t want anyone to go through that and it led me to asking this question, what has made successful people better? Now, please be reminded that success is not just wealth, it is a balance of everything that matters in your life.
So, today I have come with two outcomes, how to achieve what you want and how to end that suffering only If you want to. I once heard a prolific speaker say,
‘You like being poor’,
It wasn’t until later that I realized how true this statement was.
I’d like to challenge you today to be very honest. Take a hard look at your life. Think about your typical daily habits and write them down. I bet you want to be successful in all aspects of your life. Right? Are you willing to put in the time though? Succesful people wish daylight hours could be extended because they want to put in the hours and make more profits. What about you?
Predict your future
Extraordinary people have extraordinary habits and average people have well just average habits. If you would like to know where you shall be in 10 or 20 years time, look at what you did today and yesterday.
What time did you wake up? What about that goal you were so excited in achieving when the year started? What happened to it? I understand things have changed a little. We are all feeling the brunt of the pandemic. So, what are you doing about it?
As you are reading this blog post, I’d like you to brutally ask yourself this question.
‘Where am I going to be in 10 or 20 years time If I keep doing what I’m doing?’
This also doesn’t have to be only about daily habits, it can also have to do with how you treat those who love you. If you keep doing what you are doing now, where do you think that relationship will be in years to come?

On a scale of 1 to 10, how confident are you of your abilities to reach your target taking into consideration your day-to-day activities? Are you in the range of 1,3,6,8 maybe or a perfect 10? If it’s below 8 out of 10 then you don’t have habits that will allow you to be successful. Not to worry though, because I shall help you work on that. What is really keeping you from committing to new habits?

Whether it’s dieting, learning a new skill, exercise, the result is the same. Tomorrow shall come and go with those goals undone. It’s not like daily habits aren’t doable, No! it’s just very easy not to do them. Whatever excuse you have, the truth is, your life isn’t going to magically change especially with such behavior.
End your Suffering by living your life now as if in the future
Never trust your future self. How can you even start to believe that you will do things differently tomorrow if you can’t make a small step of change today? What you are doing today is what you are going to do tomorrow, next week, next month and the years to come. Nothing travels faster than time especially when you aren’t aware of what you are losing. 2. Be active not passive in learning.
Our minds were conditioned from the time we were in school to theoretically learn things. We sat down, listened to the teacher and kept quiet unless she /he asked a question. This is a conditioned state of mind. Learn to take action.
3. Be brutally honest with yourself.
What do you need to do to become the best version of yourself or to lead a successful life? It has nothing to do with how things are like now. Some of you’ll spend time in the wrong circles of people who think of nothing but getting 2 cents to drink alcohol at the end of the day. If he or she gets that, then goal achieved! Your environment and your circle of friends will determine how far you shall go in life because its true what they say, show me your friends and I shall show you who you are.
4. Stop fighting battles that you can’t win!
Is the economy bad at the moment?
Yea, sure! The politicians are selfish scoundrels concerned about their own mouths, of-course! Yea, quite a number of them. Spending time thinking of past failures will not help you either! You want to be successful? Then you have to forget about every negative thing around you and fight to make it yourself. YOU are the one who can change YOUR OWN destiny. YOU! YES YOU! It takes ONLY YOU and YOUR mind to win this. The battle is in your mind and you have to fight those negatives to make it.
