What To Do During Lockdown To Stay Calm/Learn What Succesful People do.

What are the things you can do during lockdown to stay calm?

Let me ask you a question.

What is it that successful people do habitually, every single day that leads to them being in the top 20% of money-earners in our society?

95% of everything you do is a result of habit.


 So, the rule is: Form good habits and make them your masters rather than allowing bad habits to form. In fact, the other rule says this,  Good habits are hard to form, but easy to live with; bad habits are easy to form, but hard to live with. Replace your bad habits with good ones .

How So?

1 .Start Exercising.

Before you do anything in the morning, drink warm water. It helps in cleansing your intestines so that you don’t feel bloated. Also, helps with weightloss. Walk around the yard for 15 minutes without stopping. Stretch. Decide whether its leg day or cardio time. Stick to the program.

2.Have A Daily Routine And Stick To It.

A human being functions better when they have a schedule. It gives you a purpose. The mind is kept busy and does not wander off unnecessarily. Idleness breeds contempt. So much for idleness! All the phrases I found were toxic.

‘Idle hands are the devil’s tools’

‘Idleness is the root of mischief.’

‘Idle lips are his workshop’

I give up!

Have a tasklist .

  • Wake up and get ready as If you are going somewhere even If you aren’t going anywhere.
  • 10 a.m Tidy up the house.
  • 12 a.m Read a book.
  • 2 p.m search the internet on how to harness your skill. Build Skills with Online Courses from Top Institutions like Udemy or Coursera for free like Graphic designing,  which is in demand these days.


3. Make Love!!Not War.

Yes, you heard me right!There is nothing more fulfilling and satisfying as making love with someone you adore.Make everything that you are doing intentional, for example, bath together. It should be consensual of-course and I hope you are an adult.



4. Watch Movies.

Netflix is going for US11.99 per month. The first month is free. If you are like me and love freebies then sign up and cancel subscription before they deduct the money from your account. It is totally Legal to share the account with your friends. You can share the cost or get 3 more people and end up paying US 4 dollars instead. Countless of interesting and inspiring movies to watch.



5. Breathe. Have an Introspection And Write New Goals.

When the year started, we all had vision boards out. We joined financial pages and dreamed. A life without dreams and hope is dead. There isn’t anything wrong with raising your hopes high. All it takes is writing down what you want, sticking it on the wall and working towards it. Time to look at the relationships that you have. Are they worth your time? Are the people in your phonebook necessary? Go through your e-mails. Delete contacts and add some that are necessary. Your social network places need some tidying up also. Go through Facebook, join groups that are relevant to your skills, needs and goals. One such group I can suggest is this one


When this lockdown started , I struggled with a lot of things. One of them was accepting that I needed to relax. I got very stressed about my online work. I noticed that some of my online friends were getting ahead of me. I am one of those people who hate being unproductive. So, I started having a lot of free time in my hands and that didn’t settle well with me. After a while I got to accept that all things are working for my good. I had just been given time to interact with my children and to re-kindle that love I had with my husband.
